Off to an early start at 7:45. Another beautiful day, cool and calm. There was lots of freighter traffic. We briefly tried the jib but again, we needed to go straight into the wind so we took it down. There were quite a few fishermen as we entered Lake St. Clair about 9:10. We saw a house that had collapsed on itself (too much snow??? We continued in a leisurely fashion fighting the current down the St. Clair river taking turns driving and napping. The freighter traffic kept it interesting. At 12:30 we passed the humongous Lambton Power Plant on the Canadian side. We also passed a freighter carrying a huge Power Yacht strapped on top. Most have taken a big crane to lift that up there. We passed a large refinery and about 2:30 we were glad to get a free one-night berth at Port Huron Yacht Club. Larry went for a short bike ride. We had a glass of wine and dined on board and later walked in to town to get dessert at the Brew Pub.Our small camera was today so there are no photos to share until we got to shore for the evening and got out the other one to take a picture of the old lift bridge by our dock. I will try to add that later.
